Villa Antonio is a fully licensed holiday accommodation and registered with Lanzarote’s Ministry of Tourism. Villa Antonio meets all the requirements required by Reglamento de las viviendas vacacionales de la Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias for furnished holiday homes.

Spain’s Canary Islands has become that country’s first region to offer visitors, both Spanish and foreign, coverage for all expenses in the case of COVID-19 illness, including medical expenses, health repatriation and extension of stay due to quarantine. Source: TRAVEL WEEK.
The protection of tourists, Spaniards and foreigners through this insurance is effective from this week and will initially have a validity of 12 months.
The Canary authorities now offer that any tourist tested positive for covid-19 during his stay will be guaranteed free treatment, free return and free quarantine.
The coverage will not apply if the tourist knew in advance that he or she was infected with covid-19. And it will only be activated if the tourist does not have personal insurance that can cover the costs.
The agreement was signed by the regional counsellor Yaiza Castilla, on behalf of the public company Promotur Turismo de Islas Canarias of which she is CEO, and the company AXA Seguros, represented on the spot by the director of the Canary Islands, Auxiliadora Expósito, and Enrique Fernández, representing EM7 Risk Management and agent of AXA.
