Testing
The Spanish government announced / confirmed on Dec 10 that the PCR COVID-19 RT-PCR is the only test that acceptable when flying from a High risk country (UK ) into the Canary Islands - and must be taken 72 hours before arrival
The antigen test SARS-CoV-2 is acceptable for when flying from a medium risk country (Ireland) and the test can take place in Lanzarote
Returning to UK
You will need to quarantine for 10 days, which can be reduced to 5 days (It looks like you will get the results on day 7?) Note: the testing can only be taken through approved centres

UK government did not make any changes on Dec 17 and stated the next review will be in 2 weeks
