What's required to go home?
This of course varies by country but simplistically
1.A Day 2 PCR test kit for when you arrive back to the UK , you will need to buy this to complete the UK locator forms it needs the order ID which you receive by e mail as soon as you buy the test kit........We used Dante Labs £45 (other countries may vary)
2. A locator form to be completed 48 hours before your arrive into the UK (other countries may vary)
3. Take a COVID-19 test in Lanzarote (To board the plane), you need proof of a negative result from a test taken in the 3 days before departure - For UK it is a Rapid/Antigen test which costs €25/€30 (other countries may vary)
New level for Lanzarote
You may of heard the Canarian Government has moved Lanzarote to "Level 2"
Similar to other Governments , they keep same levels but change the criteria from the last time that level was announced
So simplistically what has changed for visitors?
Bars and restaurants have to close at midnight instead of 2am
Number of people at tables is now 6 max instead of 10
Capacity inside bars and restaurants is 50% of normal levels instead of 75%
Active cases
In Lanzarote this is currently at 163 which equates to 71 cases per 100,000 in the last 7 days
2 in hospital - none in ICU
In comparison UK is currently 8,440 per 100,000 in the last 7 days (Gov.uk website)
