Lanzarote is getting better and better......

Two weeks ago Lanzarote had over 500 active cases

Last week we reported that number had reduced to 196

This week the number of active cases is down to 159

The PCR Covid-19 tests for tourists, mentioned last week are due to start Nov 1, with the intention of trying to save the Winter season

There is some confusion as the Canarian President announced the testing will be "selective & voluntary"...................

On the plus side the Canaries have set up their first "travel corridor" with a tour operator - Tui Germany, after the failure of Spain's Tourist Minister to come anywhere close of establishing a safe corridor with any EU country

The current status on airlines
