Lanzarote getting much much better

Three weeks ago Lanzarote had over 500 active cases
Two weeks we reported that number had reduced to 196
Last week the number of active cases is down to 159
This week the number is down to 101 active cases
This equates to 16 cases per 100,000 inhabitants
The Criteria to be on the UK Government approved travel corridor list (no need to quarantine on return) is less 20 cases per 100,000 inhabitants
Note Lanzarote is included in "Canary Islands" when viewed by the UK Government
Current cases per 100,000 inhabitants on the other major Islands
Grand Canaria - 40
Tenerife - 50
Fuerteventura - 43
Lanzarote is doing an outstanding job in controlling Covid-19
The rumour is Oct 24 (Not sure why not Oct 22, which is the weekly travel review date) where the UK Government will make a decision on a travel corridor for the Canaries Island, assuming progress on the cases per 100,000 inhabitants continues
Keep well / Keep safe
