- Villa Antonio Lanzarote
Are you a pirate?
Some guests kindly wrote a review on there visit to the Pirate Museum in Teguise

Review
One morning whilst staying at Villa Antonio we felt energetic so decided to walk to the Pirate Museum.
It was well worth the effort.
The museum built in Santa Barbara Castle overlooks Teguise Town, founded in 1418, which was then the capital of Lanzarote.
Situated to enable a view of approaching pirates including Sir Walter Rayleigh in 1670 who looted and provisioned his ship.
Pirate visits were frequent during the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries as the Canaries were regular stopovers for the Spanish Gold ships travelling to and from the Americas.
The museum is open 7 days a week.
