New place to eat in Playa Honda - La Mesana

Yesterday we planned to go to Erik-it in Playa Honda for lunch, however we learnt it is closed on a Monday, something we will remember in the future

Walking along the front we came across La Mesana ( Address - Calle Mesana 15 , tel 928 82 30 50 )

Quite a few people were already sitting outside so that is always a good sign, along with having our favourite wine - Bermejo Vino Blanco seco!

We settled on a cold meat platter for two along with Canarian potatoes and some excellent mojo sauce

Service was not fast ( they did bring out a hot meat platter by mistake, but quickly apologised) but we were not in a hurry

It was a good spot to watch people walk and cycle by plus we could see the planes land and take off but none of the noise

We finished off lunch with a Cortardo condensadar (see picture - it cost only €1.20 which shows it was a local price not a tourist price)

Had a good lunch and we will be going back and adding it to our list
